The old bow cleat had one stud rust and breakoff. So I replaced with a Brass Samson Post I purchased from Blue Pelican in Alameda, CA.

Bow Rebuild
The autumn of 2021 came and went and the boat has not
been hauled out yet, Maybe this year, 2022. This is what happened: I kept trying
to tighten my forestays but they simply would not comply. Turns out my bow was
rotten. So over about 2 months in the fall of 2021, I rebuilt the bow. Here are
the pictures.
